Denon has been making disc players since the beginnings of CD, and the new DCD-1600NE brings all that expertise to a player designed to make the most of both CD and Super Audio CD, and go beyond that with the ability to play DSD and high-resolution PCM files. It uses Denon__s proprietary S.V.H. mechanism, designed to suppress vibration in order to read discs with superb accuracy, and is built using Direct Mechanical Ground Construction for even greater stability and rejection of mechanical interference.
As well as CD and Super Audio CD, the DCD-1600NE will play DSD2.8MHz and 5.6MHz files, and PCM files up to 192kHz/24bit, recorded on DVD-R/RW media. It uses Denon__s Advanced AL32 Processing and Ultra Precision 192kHz/32bit digital-to-analogue conversion, along with the proprietary DAC Master Clock Circuit Design, now with a greatly improved power supply and other changes for even greater accuracy, to deliver a sound as close as possible to the studio original.
